Property prices for houses in Stockholm continue to rise with an enormous 14% increase in the past year alone. The average price of a house in Stockholm is now just under 5 500 000 SEK (650 283 USD or 583 057 Euro, based on today’s exchange rate). This compares to a national average price of 2 800 000 SEK (331 033 USD or 296 823 Euro) for houses sold in Sweden between May and July of 2016.
The latest property price figures from Statistics Sweden (SCB) are listed below. They show the average house prices in the municipality of Stockholm and surrounding municipalities, which are Stockholm suburbs.
