We were delighted to welcome Julien Bourrelle to Stockholm yesterday as key speaker at “Working with multi-national teams – How to help your foreign hires navigate Swedish Business Culture”. The event was held at EY (formerly Ernst & Young) and co-hosted by Relocate to Sweden and Grow Internationals.
Julien held an insightful and extremely entertaining presentation on “Cracking the Code to Scandinavia” which was very well received.

Julien is a rocket scientist with a passion for Scandinavians. He is the author of The Social Guidebook to Sweden and is also known as a TEDx speaker and presenter of “How culture drives behaviour”. Originally from Canada, Julien lives in Norway where he has been handed the TOP 10 awards by Crown Prince Haakan for his outstanding contributions. He is an insightful speaker and provides an expert and entertaining approach to connecting cultures, focusing on how to benefit from diversity. He explains with enthusiasm the peculiarities of Swedish culture, illustrates how everyday behaviours can be misinterpreted and how this leads to cultural misunderstanding.
